DISCOVER ONE OF CAYMAN’S AMAZING TREASURES
Strange as it may seem, there is really a place called “Hell” in Cayman’s paradise.
Located in the district of West Bay on Grand Cayman, Hell is a unique natural wonder of rugged blackened limestone outcropping. The jagged formations are a result of millions of years of geological evolution, due to acid rain and consumption of the rock by carbonate-loving organisms. This erosion has left an eerie and desolate looking landscape earning this location its highly appropriate name. The rocks are estimated to be 10 to 15 million years old.
Visitors have been flocking here for decades, for bragging rights that they have “been to Hell and back” or have simply taken someone’s advice to “go to Hell!”
Naturally, the ‘Devil’ roams at Hell and no visit is complete without a photo taken with him, you may also catch a glimpse of an “Angel” while on site.
A postcard dispatched from Hell Post Office is also a good way to share a memorable visit to this site.
Hell is located on lands owned by the Cayman Islands Government, as well as on adjoining areas, which are privately owned and offers a similar experience.

Thanks for the ease of transport.
